Revelation 19:1-5: in context

1After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Hallelujah! Salvation, power, and glory belong to our God; 2for his judgments are true and righteous. For he has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and he has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.” 3A second said, “Hallelujah! Her smoke goes up forever and ever.” 4The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne, saying, “Amen! Hallelujah!” 5A voice came from the throne, saying, “Give praise to our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, the small and the great!”

Heaven erupts in praise: Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, for his judgments are true and just. And a voice comes from the throne with a summons that gathers everyone in: praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, the small and the great.

The multitude rejoices not only in God's salvation but in his judgments, that he has finally set right what was wrong and vindicated his servants. God's justice, long awaited, is at last complete, and heaven calls it good. And no one is left out of the chorus: small and great together lift the same Hallelujah. This is the destiny of God's people, to join the worship of heaven, where every wrong is righted and every servant, however lowly, has a place in the praise. The vision lifts our eyes past present struggles to the worship that will one day fill everything, when God's people, small and great, sing as one.

Do I lift my voice in the praise of God even now, joining the chorus of heaven where his justice is complete and every servant, small and great, worships him?
